While others are preparing to feast, we are preparing to go hog wild with film factoids and conversations. Let's see if you have the knowledge. We have a fun movie themed game to play to help get the conversation started. Winner will receive a festival pass to all film blocks for next year's film festival.
Happy hour is from 5-7pm, so come early if you want to grab some eats.

Desert Waves is officially adding music to our festival experience! This year you will get to see films from all over the world, network with filmmakers and musicians, hear from industry experts, and rock out with a line-up of artists curated by NTDLV.
Premiering this year:
The Best Picture winner of the 2026 Summer Shorts Contest, Harold, directed by Harrison Glantz.
All the music videos that were created for the Music Video Lab in collaboration with Desert Cactus Films.
